We will manage online audience interaction where this works for a customer, overseeing social media communications on behalf of professional services firms, SMEs and NGOs. Some strategies can be designed more simply to inform, and not necessarily to interact with, key stakeholders.
But we do not fight shy of direct dialogue. Social media engagement is our stock in trade. We manage public conversations in ways that could be important in a crisis or in dealing with negative campaigning.
The level of interaction required may range from growing relevant Twitter followers to creating and promoting an online petition to influence public policy. We can also act openly and transparently in online forums and on platforms like Wikipedia, adopting an ethical and transparent engagement strategy.
